Being a visually impaired re-enactor myself I found that the only spectacle frames on offer were of poor quality and poorly finished. After many months of research, I succeeded in producing frames that were not only comfortable but passed by an optician as being suitable for all lenses. Now after much more years of research into spectacles of all periods we can now offer spectacles from medieval to WW II. Periods. From medieval to 17th century are hand crafted in brass or silver after that time they are all original sold to you at an affordable price. We can also offer a lens-fitting service using your personal prescription either at the time of purchase of frames, or later if your own optician is unable to do this for you. For your safety plastic lenses will be fitted for use in combat situations and for ease of wearing..  If prescription is highly complicated there may be a small additional charge.
